Monteverdi: L'Orfeo

Despite representing the pinnacle of early baroque music, Claudio Monteverdi’s operas are little performed. In September 2013 the AAM will launch a major new
cycle of concert performances of L’Orfeo, L’incoronazione di Poppea and Il ritorno d’UIisse in patria, performed at the Barbican in London and as part of major international tours.
